11 “ancester” changed to “ancestor” (Niall Garbh, the ancestor of Red Hugh)
16 “ill” changed to “will” (to wander about at will?)
27 “generation” changed to “generations” (with Irish soil for many generations.)
28 “i.” added “i.e.” (i.e., to announce a death)
33 “remanied” changed to “remained” (and so I remained with my neck craned over)
42 “genialty” changed to “geniality” (about them all there was an air of geniality)
