LVIII.

Woman’s own soul must seek and find that fay,

And wake it into light of quickening day;

Man’s counsel helpful in that track shall be

For all his learning rich return and fee;

His philosophic and chirurgic lore,

To her imparted, swell her innate store;

Till, clothed with majesty of mind she stand,

Regent of Nature’s will, in heart, and head, and hand.
