THE SAYINGS OF AGUR
FIRST SAYING
On God
I
Sentence of the man who has worried himself about God:

And in me there is no human understanding.

So that I might comprehend the science of sacred things.
II

Who can bind the waters in a garment?
Who can grasp all the ends of the earth?

And what is the name of his sons, if thou knowest it?[312]
