The people who saw all this were surprised, and said, Jesus must be the Son of God.
Why flow the blessed Saviour’s tears?
Is it because the cross he fears?
Because he knows he soon shall die,
And shall within the cold grave lie?
He weeps to see the sisters weep
Of Lazarus, who lies asleep;
So tender is his heart, and kind,
That all from him may pity find.
