Hereby it appeared that 4 or 5 days after the suppression of that Abbey, several Blanks, having the Covent-sealle, were seene by the Deponent, the Abbot and others being privy. Upon these blanks Wm. Damport, the Abbot’s Scribe, wrote Leases, with Ante-Dates: and among the rest one was the Lease and Reversion of the Mannour of Poultone.”
