John 6:47.
He that believeth on the Son hath (not perhaps will have) everlasting life.
John 3:36.
HE that hath the Son hath life.
I John 5:12.
The Holy Spirit can not give you any happy feelings until you rest fully upon God’s Word.
If you have received God’s gift (Jesus), you have God’s word for it that you have life. The life is in His Son. Believe this and you will know it. Confess Jesus as your Savior and you will have the witness of the Spirit.
THE Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit that we are the children of God.
Romans 8:16.
HE that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness (record) in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
