“Moi—Mimi,” said the girl bearing that name, going up to Newton, and pointing to herself.

“Mimi,” repeated Newton, with a smile and nod of his head.

“Moi—Charlotte.”

“Moi—Louise.”

“Moi—Céleste.”

“Moi—Nina.”

“Moi—Caroline.”

“Moi—Manchette.”
