He has rays from each hand of Him,
Therein[428] is the ambush of His might.
Pestilence travels before Him,
The plague-fire breaks forth at His feet.
He stands and earth shakes,[429]
He looks and drives nations asunder;
And the ancient mountains are cloven,
The hills everlasting sink down.
These be His ways from of old.[430]
Under trouble I see the tents of Kûshān,[431]
