On board the Minerva, Feb. 16, 1741.
Dear Mrs. B.,
WHEN you read that Jesus loved Lazarus, Mary, and their sister Martha, do you not make a particular application to your own family? I think our Lord has been equally kind to your houshold. Walk as becometh members of the houshold of faith. I hope you have had full satisfaction about your state, and know assuredly that Christ is your Saviour. If not, be not discouraged; go on the way of duty, is the way of safety. By-and-by your soul shall magnify the Lord, and your spirit rejoice in God your Saviour.
