If Martiall-Discipline thou shalt affect;

Yet, doe not honest-Policie, neglect.

Improve thy Minde, as much as e're thou may;

But foole thou not thy Bodies gifts away.

The Vertues both of Body, and of Mind,

Are, still, to be regarded in their kind.

And, wee should neither of the two disgrace;

Nor, either of them, raise above his place:

For, when these two wee value as wee ought,

Great works, by their joynt-power, to passe are brought.
