Enquire with daily studie, and delight.

To me, Oh Lord, vouchsafe thou, to impart

The gift of such a Rectifyed-heart.

Grant me the Knowledge of Inferiour things,

So farre, alone, as their Experience, brings

The Knowledge, which, I ought to have of thee,

And, of those Dueties, thou requir'st of mee:

For, thee, Oh God, to know, and, thee to feare,

Of truest Wisedome, the Perfections are.
