Thy fortunes have appeared bad;

For, many suff'rings thou hast had:

And tryalls too, as yet made knowne

To no mans knowledge, but thine owne.

But, let nor losse, nor fame, nor smart,

From constant hopes remove thy heart:

And, as thine Emblem doth foreshew,

A good conclusion will insue.
