But, seeke not Knowledge, to thy neighbours wrong:
Be thankefull for the Grace thou hast receiv'd,
But, judge not those, who seeme thereof bereav'd;
Nor into those forbidden secrets peepe,
Which God-Almighty, to himselfe doth keepe.
Remember what our Father Adam found,
When he for Knowledge, sought beyond his bound.
For, doubtlesse, ever since, both good and ill
Are left with Knowledge, intermingled still;
And, (if we be not humble, meeke, and warie)
