The sight of Mew-Mew's little feasts had of old been more than Bow-Wow was able to bear.
"Why do you not get some?" said Bow-Wow.
"Oh! I will get them," said Mew-Mew, "all alive."
And she lost no time about it, for she had two poor little birds in no time.
Bow-Wow ate one, she ate the other.
"Will you have one more?" said Mew-Mew.
"Yes, if you please," said the dog.
