(Moves toward door l.)
Dean (quickly). After I've seen Fanny, may I come back?
Hilda. Yes, yes, only please go now. (Sound of voices without door l. Hilda draws back.) I mustn't let them see me like this—the suit-case.
Dean. Come this way. (Points to r.)
