In the new Arctic Lamps the shade support is stronger, having three arms instead of two; the extinguisher is not so upright and will not fall down if the lamp is moved. The fitting for candlesticks is simpler and obviates any difficulty in removing the plug from the candlestick nozzle.

A tapering adjustable rubber end is now made which will fit in any size nozzle; it does not scratch silver, and is especially suitable for china or glass candelabra.

The Arctic Lamp is constructed on the same principle as a carriage or reading lamp, in which the candle, enclosed in metal tube, is forced up as it burns by means of a spiral spring inside.

It fits in any candlestick, and is made to exactly resemble a wax candle when in use.

For the dinner table decoration it is particularly useful, as the candles remain the same height, yet are burnt to the very end without the slightest waste.

No more guttering candles; no more candle shades taking fire; no smoke or smell when extinguished.
