BUSINESS ARRANGEMENTS
OBJECT.—The object of the Company is to supply its Customers with the best goods at the lowest remunerative prices.
HOURS OF BUSINESS.—From 8.30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and 1 p.m. on Saturdays; closed on all Bank Holidays.
TERMS OF PAYMENT.—Town—Cash at time of purchase or on delivery except where accounts have been opened; Country—Cash with order, except where accounts have been opened. Accounts are opened for the convenience of Customers on receipt of a deposit or banker’s or London Trade reference, and are rendered weekly for town, monthly for country.—Note.—1 per cent. Bonus is allowed upon deposits of £20 and upwards, provided each successive deposit be made before the preceding one has been exhausted. Separate Accounts may be opened for Drapery and Fancy Goods, to be rendered and paid monthly.
CHEQUES.—Cheques and Post Office or Postal Orders should be made payable to “Harrods’ Stores, Limited,” and crossed “Barclay & Co., Limited, not negotiable.”
