Nubere tempus erat: iuveni tua forma placebat.

This was the theme of the medieval students, so vociferously and consistently proclaimed in the Carmina Burana:

Iam aetas invaluit,

Iam umor incubuit,

Iam virgo maturuit,

Iam tumescunt ubera,

Iam frustra complacuit

Nisi fiant cetera.
