Another instance is from Antony and Cleopatra (act iii. sc. 2, l. 7, vol. ix. p. 64). Agrippa and Enobarbus meet in Cæsar’s ante-chamber, and of Lepidus Enobarbus declares,—
“O how he loves Cæsar!
Agrip. Nay, but how dearly he adores Marc Antony!
Enob. Cæsar? Why, he’s the Jupiter of men.
Agrip. What’s Antony? The god of Jupiter.
