A deſire of extending the very laudable Practice of giving Books at Funerals, and the great propriety of the preſent Work for that Purpoſe, have induced the Editors to put this valuable Performance one Third cheaper than the London Edition, although it is by no Means Inferior in point of Elegance.
Some of the business localities of Boston in the last century were known by names which now strike us as very queer or quaint. We select a number of advertisements from the "Gazette," "Post-Boy," and "Chronicle."
