VI "Effects of alcohol upon the brain and nerves are:

"(a) It causes apoplexy and epilepsy by confusing the brain.

"(b) It weakens the will and deadens the feelings.

"(c) It hardens the brain tissues, producing dullness, insensibility, and insanity.
