SWEET APPLES FOR BAKING AND FOR STOCK FEEDING.
With many persons the consumption of sweet apples becomes an important item of household economy; for the feeding and fattening of stock sweet apples have deservedly attracted the attention of intelligent farmers, and they may yet be much more extensively planted in many places where the land is not well adapted to the production of grain and other staple crops for the support of man and the animals under his care.
With a view to aid the planter the following lists have been collated:
