Dick laughed outright.
“What are your hours?” he asked. “When does Miss Hudson visit the sick-bed?”
“If you must know,” I replied, “she has had the kindness to visit me every morning; also in the evening.”
“Then Teddy has the afternoons,” said he.
“But he has been hunting.”
“He comes home after lunch, I notice,” laughed Dick.
