Where a sequential series of paragraphs have an opening bracket without a closing one, these were standardized to one opening and one closing bracket for the whole section. One opening bracket missing on [page 38] was assumed to belong at the start of last line of that paragraph. The closing quote from the second paragraph on [page 47] was added. An Internet search confirmed this location.
