The top is depressed and ornamented with a scalloped band; immediately below this is a broad band consisting of two plain, narrow stripes, between which is a row of oblong figures arranged in a zigzag pattern; around the middle of the vessel there is a sparsely serrate band, interrupted at intervals by small circles, in each of which there is the form of a cross.
