Those represented are the magpie, prairie lark, oriole, humming bird, and swallow. The latter is shown in Fig. [493]. The object is attached to a stick in such a manner that the wings can be made to move up and down by pulling a string, in imitation of the bird in flight.

1335. ([41184]). Toy or baby cradle, called wi-hā-klem-tsān-nā, (see Fig. [489]), with a wooden doll arranged to show the manner of securing children in cradles.
