FLAG DAY
June 14 is the anniversary of the adoption of the flag, and that date is celebrated in many states as Flag Day.
We can honor our flag
- By living for it;
- By keeping our own honor bright;
- By being brave; (Red stands for valor.)
- By being clean; (White stands for purity.)
- By being just; (Blue stands for justice.)
- By being loyal;
- By being ready to die for it, if we are called upon.
Our state has one star in the blue of the flag.
