The Index entry on p. 316, for John Boyes, garbles two subentries on line breaks: ‘join- the R.N.R.’ and ‘disappointment regards -ing certificate’. It seems probable that the ‘-ing’ was simply misplaced. The entires have been corrected to appear as ‘joining the R.N.R.’ and ‘disappointment regards certificate’.
