A kniht schal speke for hem alle.
He kneleth doun unto the king,
And seith that thei upon this thing, 2360

Ben alle avised forto chese.
Tho tok this kniht a yerde on honde,
And goth there as the cofres stonde,
And with assent of everichon
He leith his yerde upon that on,
And seith the king hou thilke same
