Some poets sing o' gipsy queens,

An' some o' ladies fine;

Aw'll sing a song o' other scenes,

A humbler muse is mine:

Jewels, an' gold, an' silken frills,

Are things too heigh for me,

But woll mi harp wi' vigour thrills,
