Uniform.—Scarlet with Yellow facings (from 1689). Plume, White.

Regimental Badge.—"The Castle of Inniskilling," with "The St. George's Colours Flying," and the word "Inniskilling" underneath.

Nickname.—"The Skillingers"; also "The Old Inniskillings."

Notes.—Originally the Cavalry arm of the forces raised for the defence of Enniskillen in 1689 (with the Royal Irish Dragoons, and the Inniskilling Fusiliers, or late 27th Foot).
