The prefatory Latin lines are from Faukes’s ed., where they are given on the back of the title-page, and below a woodcut portrait headed “Skelton Poeta,” (see List of Editions, in Appendix to Account of Skelton, &c.): they are not in Marshe’s ed. nor in MS.
