For the Testamentes
To them, they sey, sente is,
To gather vpp ther rentes,
After ther intentes:
Wherby it by them ment is,
That lay men be but lowtes;
They may not knowe the clowtes,
Nor dispute of the doubtes,
That is in Christes lawe;
For why, they never sawe
