“Let me sweep with the new broom,” said Bobby.
Mother let Bobby sweep the back porch.
“Now it’s my turn to sweep,” said Betty.
“You may sweep the steps,” said Mother.
Betty worked very hard.
She wanted to sweep the steps clean.
“I could sweep better, Mother, if I were a little bigger,” said Betty. “I wish the broom was not so big.”
“This broom is too big for a little girl,” said Mother.
