“Bring me three bunches,” said Mother.

The fruit and vegetable man took the beets and strawberries out of the wagon.

The boy brought them to the kitchen door.

“Can you change fifty cents?” asked Mother.

“Yes,” said the boy. “Thirty-five, forty, fifty cents.”

“How much did he give you, Mother?” asked Bobby.

“Fifteen cents,” answered Mother. “That is the change.”

“I want to know how to make change,” said Bobby.

“So do I,” added Betty.
