She gave them some soup and a piece of white bread,

She sang them a song and put them to bed.

BOBBY AND BETTY GO TO THE SHOEMAKER’S SHOP

“There’s a hole in my shoe,” said Bobby.

“There’s a hole in mine, too,” said Betty.

“Let me see your shoes, children,” said Mother.

Bobby and Betty showed Mother their shoes.
