As in the original, pagination is separate for each section. The modern introduction and the Preface to Terence each use Roman numerals (i, ii, iii...), shown in the right margin. Both Prefaces have folio numbers labeling the verso (right-hand) page of the first few leaves of each signature (A, A2...); these are shown in the left margin. Since the Preface to Plautus has no other pagination, unmarked page breaks are shown as | in the left margin.
