MUSIC. NICOLAI, better known as “Wie schön leuchtet der Morgenstern,” has long been known as the “Queen of Chorales.” (For the “King of Chorales,” see [Hymn 522].) It is a magnificent tune. In Germany it was set on many city chimes.
