Summary: As a result of the Nazi invasion, the age-old antagonism between the Cornish and Breton fisherfolk is changed to mutual understanding and friendship. This semi-documentary of the lives and folklore of the fishermen was filmed at the port of Mevagissey in Cornwall, which was used to portray both the Cornish fishing village of Trevannick and the Breton harbor of Lanec.
