1-lb. flour.
¼-lb. butter
¼-lb. sugar.
3 eggs.
½-oz. carraway seeds.

Brush them over with a little milk.

9. Soda Biscuits.

1-lb. flour.
¼-lb. butter.
½-lb. sugar.
1 teaspoonful carbonate of soda.
2 eggs.

10. Sweet Biscuits.

2 breakfast cups flour.
1 cup castor sugar.
3-ozs. butter.
2 eggs.
½ teaspoonful baking powder.
Little milk.

Mix very stiff and bake on a floured tin.
