learn his origin and age, or to measure his manhood, or to
know how much of a man he ever has been: for, “as
many as received him, to them gave he power to become [25]

And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul;
the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.—1 Cor. xv. 45.
