A voice salutes my ear!

O! how the accents move me!

I hear my Savior say,

“My daughter! dost thou love me?”

What answer shall I give

To Him who died to save me?

Who rescued me from death,

And all my sins forgave me?

O! hear me, dearest Lord!

In glory throned above me,
