The Moon came late to the twinkling sky,
To see what the stars were about:
"Fair Night," quoth she, "are the family in?"
"Oh! no, they are, every one, out."

I met a man with a goose.

I guess you came from Toulouse."
Says I: "Little goose with a man!
How did you leave your mother?
