[In which one Bill (mongst many) there was red],

Against the generall, and superfluous waste

Of temporall Lands, (the Laity that had fed)

Vpon the Houses of Religion caste,

Which for defence might stand the Realme in sted,

Where it most needed were it rightly plac’t;

[Which made those Church-men generally to feare],

For all this calme, some tempest might be neare.
