Fourth row—scarlet, the centre stitch white.
Fifth row—three stitches blue; two white; two blue.
Sixth row—blue.
Seventh row—gold colour.
Eighth row—yellow.
This pattern requires three different coloured wools in many of the rows. It is very handsome. The side border may be crocheted on.
Six-thread fleecy, and a steel needle, should be used.
