Butterflies and Moths.—Butterflies and moths may be told apart by the following character: The antennæ or horns of the butterflies are always threadlike and knobbed at the tip, [Figs. 141], [142], while the antennæ of moths are in various shapes, but never bear knobs at the tips, [Figs. 143], [144], [145], [146].
