Feb. 19—Saw a little seed lying on top.

Feb. 20—Saw little sprout.

Feb. 24—Saw two little sprouts.

Feb. 25—The egg-shell was full of sprouts.

Feb. 26—The plant was coming up and the earth was very wet, so I did not water it.
