And there is to be no more ministering of angels, for such things are done away.

And I saw an angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting Gospel to preach to them that dwell on the earth, etc.
Angels do not appear in this enlightened age, because they are no longer needed.

And when He, the Spirit of Truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth; again, "He shall show you things to come."
And inspiration is no longer needed in this age of learning and refinement. Again, it shall not show you things to come: for then you would be a Prophet, and there are to be no Prophets in these days.

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, in my name, and I will give it you.
It is not so in these days, we must not expect to heal the sick and work miracles, consequently we must not expect to receive what we ask for.
