“Memorias de Valladolid, 1605.” Original, with many corrections, though imperfect at the beginning. It is the diary kept by a Portuguese (Balthasar Diaz?) during his stay at Valladolid, then the residence of King Philip III. of Spain, from April to July 1605; mostly written in Portuguese, though containing at ff. 49, 55, 169 b, 219, 240, 285, 327, 332 and 376 entire passages in Castillian, both in prose and in verse.
Add. 22,662. Vellum, in folio, ff. 22, xvi.-xvii. cent.
“Reglas y ordenanças de la Confradia de San Miguel de Burgos, y Sant Benito y Santa Maria Magdalena. Acabose esta regla en primero de Junio de mil y quinientos y nouenta y seys Años. Siendo Prior de la dicha hermandad Pedro de Santisteban y sus veedores Pedro de Vibanco y Francisco de Laçuela;” with an illumination on the dorso of fol. 1, and the attestations and signatures at the end of Lic. Muñoz on the 1st of June, 1596. “Licdo Gaspar Hierro, provisor del Arzobispado, Juan Nuñez de Brizuela, Phelipe de Obregon, veedor general del arzobispado” on the 18th of August, 1601, and lastly of Dr. Don Pedro Nuñez de Escobar, “juez visitador de la Ciudad de Burgos,” on the 12th of August, 1656.
