The lists, as here given, are merely preliminary, and have been sketched in, during the printing of this Appendix, so as not to be wholly omitted from the publication of this edition. As far as they concern the New York production of the Masque, they are not to be construed as anything more than suggestive material for the necessarily impressionistic pageant-groups of the Epilogue.
